Juliet Cassells studied applied languages in London and is completing a post graduate degree in educational leadership. She was born in Britain but has lived in Germany for 20 years. Juliet has now been managing director of DFSR for 8 years and has returned to the group after a sabbatical to teach in a renowned boarding school, head an international elementary school and lead the project team for the conceptualization of an international high school. Juliet has many years experience in cultural exchange and youth travel. Her particular interest is educational innovation in international environments.

Sophia has 20 years’ worth of experience as a travel agent. She studied languages, economics and culture and has degrees in all three subjects. As a student she spent one semester in Spain and she also spent a couple of weeks in Paris on several occasions. Sophia loves to travel and has seen many languages and cultures. She has a daughter and speaks German, English, French and Spanish.

Katja studied pedagogics, trained as a nurse and organised a youth café. She spent more than 20 years working with the young. She was in the USA for 8 months and in Canada for a year, where she studied for 1 semester. She has two children and in addition has been a child minder for 10 years. She speaks German and English.

Mirka studied Slavonic and Romance language/literature. She spent half a year in Milan and lived in the USA for 10 years, where her two children also attended school. This is why she has the best possible insight into the US school system. In her youth she also spent a year in England as an au pair. She speaks German, English and Slovakian.

Dagmar has done a business training course and afterwards completed a specialty tourism course. She worked for three years as an executive assistant in an advertising agency and has been with DFSR in Heppenheim since 1992. Dagmar had a year of High School in the USA and lived in Los Angeles for three years. Through DFSR, her daughter has also enjoyed several foreign visits, including a High School year. Dagmar has travelled extensively in Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and Spain. She speaks German and English.

Nicole has a business studies diploma in tourism and travel and has worked in the areas of organisation and design for conventions and exhibitions and also in marketing. She has worked as a tourist guide for bicycle tours in England and as an au pair in America. She speaks German, English, Spanish and French.

Nina studied American and English language/literature. She has worked for more than 15 years as a volunteer with children and adolescents. She spent a year as an au pair in the USA and also did a 6-month internship there. She speaks German, English, Spanish and French.

Jean Luc did an apprenticeship in hairdressing and worked for 4 years in this profession until he took an apprenticeship in Business Communication at DFSR. Jean Luc has family all over the world (France, Britain, India, Morocco, USA and French Canada), which gave him a great interest in different cultures.

Andrea is an interpreter. She has spent semesters abroad in the UK and in Russia, English and Russian being her interpreting languages. She has worked as an English teacher in kindergartens and primary schools and has two kids of her own. Andrea has travelled a lot, especially in New Zealand and China. Apart from speaking English and Russian, she speaks some French, Dutch and Chinese.

Anja has been abroad several times with DFSR; she was an exchange student in the USA, did a language course in Ecuador and did an internship on the Galapagos Islands. Anja studied German language/literature, geography and pedagogics and studied in England and in the USA. She speaks German, English, Spanish and French.

Saskia spent a High School year with DFSR in Alberta, in English-speaking Canada, in 2000-2001. She was thrilled with the multicultural environment and since then has travelled all over the world. As well as destinations like California or British Columbia, she developed a special interest in the Asian area. Her heart was stolen by countries such as Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Bahrain during short visits. Saskia studied mathematics with a minor in information technology to diploma level. She speaks German, English and French.

Barbara studied literature, linguistics and art history (M.A.) and worked on several TV channels during her studies. She worked for four years in Central America, where she managed a non-profit exchange organisation and completed a correspondence course in Peace and Conflict research. Back in Germany, she joined the DFSR team in 2005. She speaks German, English, Spanish, and some French.

Markus studied computer science and then took a course in media design for digital and print media. He worked as a graphic designer in an advertising agency for seven years before he came to DFSR. In his leisure time he likes to travel the world with his girlfriend, rucksack and camera. At home he takes care of two very difficult tomcats.

After graduating from High School, Nadine has trained as an International Tourism Assistant. During her studies she worked as a guest relation manager at congresses and events in Germany and abroad. Last Year she spent several months in South England to work for a famous tourism organisation. Nadine loves travelling and explored many interesting destinations like Canada, USA and Mauritius.

Sabine is a tax specialist and has many years of experience as a bookkeeper; she joined the DFSR team in 1998. She likes travelling with her family and has had holidays all over the world.
